Catlett discusses world economy and U.S. ag

Lowell Catlett, dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at New Mexico State University discussed the world economy and how U.S. agriculture is important in that picture.

Lowell Catlett, dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at New Mexico State University discussed the world economy and how U.S. agriculture is important in that picture during the Bayer Ag Issues forum held on Feb. 26, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Catlett said as people around the world become more wealthy, they will eat more meat and want a safe food supply. Many of these countries will look to the U.S. for safe, healthy food.
